Former Germany and Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos is seriously considering a move into professional coaching, according to Spanish publication Diario AS.

Kroos has reportedly informed the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) of his intention to enroll in its professional coaching course for former footballers ahead of next season.

The intensive program would see the retired midfielder work towards earning an ‘A’ coaching licence, a qualification that would allow him to manage professional clubs at various levels of the game.

Kroos, who ended his illustrious playing career after Euro 2024, could therefore be preparing for the next chapter of his football journey, with a move into elite management potentially on the horizon.
